Austria Citizenship by Investment

Start by checking if you qualify under Austria's special citizenship rule called Section 10(6). This is not a public program. It's only for people who make a significant economic contribution, like investing €8 to €10 million in an Austrian business. You need to show that your investment will help the country, create jobs, or support innovation. To do this, you should work with legal experts who know how this process works.

Before you invest, you need to seek support from Austrian government officials such as the Ministry of Interior or the Ministry of Finance. You will present your business plan and show how it will benefit Austria. If the ministries like your proposal, they will give you informal approval. Without this step, your citizenship application won't move forward.

Once you get the approval, you can invest the money. You must put your funds into the approved business or project in Austria. Then, you need to collect proof- bank records, business documents, and contracts- to show the government that you made the investment as promised.

Now you will submit your complete application to the Ministry of Interior. You must include your passport, CV, clean police record, medical report, and all the documents proving your investment. If you want to include your spouse or children, you will need to add their documents too. Everything must meet Austrian legal standards.

The Austrian government will check everything very carefully. They run background and security checks, which can take 2 to 3 years. If they approve your application, you must take an oath of loyalty to Austria. Then, you receive your citizenship certificate and apply for your Austrian passport. In many cases, you can keep your original citizenship.
